Brewers Bay was named after the rum distillery, remains of which can still be seen along the roadside at is eastern end. Sea grapes and almond trees line the sandy beach, providing welcome shade, and giving it a lush tropical feel. The water is calm most of the year, but can get rough in the winter, and swimmers should look out for the rip current when the north swell is running. This beautiful bay has two beach bars, a campground and good snorkelling.
